Left Coast Crime '05 in El Paso was one of the best mystery conferences ever, just the right size to spend time with old pals and make new friends. Hospitality that couldn't be beat to go with excellent panels, one after the next. Those who missed it, missed a real treat...Here, in no particular order, some moments and people caught by the camera:
One
of two thriller panels that included Bob, this one discussing "The
Hidden Message of Thrillers: Changing the Way We See the World." From

hosting next year's LCC in Bristol, England; Bob; Robert Eversz, David

Krich and the Calavera trophy she was voted for the best mystery set in
the geographic location covered by Left Coast Crime and published in '04.
Rochelle wasn't at the dinner to hear her name called--she had a
conflicting speaking engagement at a (no kidding) funeral home--and had
asked Bob to accept for her, were she to win. |
