Ex-Gays: Groups
Those groups that claim to be able to "cure" homosexuality

Courage
A Catholic-based organization which mission is to "provide spiritual support for men and women striving to live chaste lives in accordance with the Catholic Church's pastoral teaching on homosexuality."

Deliver Ministries
Delivery Ministries offers "freedom from homosexuality" based upon the simplistic and out-of-context premise "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"

Exodus
Home site for Exodus International, perhaps the best known of the organizations which claim to be able to "cure" gays and lesbians of their homosexuality.

Free to Be
A truly frightening site because it takes a lovely concept and pretty pictures and creates an atmosphere which "kindly" attempts to lead, by misleading, questioning youth away from what very well may be their natural orientation.

Homosexuals Anonymous
This "change" group has a 14 Step program which "cures" based upon its basic premise "that the root causes of homosexuality are spiritual, intra-psychic and relational."

JONAH
It was bound to happen. JONAH is "Jews Offering New Alternatives to Homosexuality." So far as I know, the first of its kind (a Jewish gay reparative ministry). Don't forget to read our other Jewish resources as this site seems to misstate a great deal of modern (and not so modern) Jewish thought and position.

Parents & Friends of Ex-Gays
PFOX states that it is "a national Christ-Centered network of parents, friends and family of loved ones struggling with homosexuality."

Transforming Congregations
They describe themselves as "The Mission of Transforming Congregations is to provide information, resources and training in understanding and involvement in transforming ministry toward homosexuals, and to encourage transforming ministry based on loving compassion, scripture, and The Discipline of the United Methodist Church."
