GLBT Historical Calendar Project

Keep coming back to watch it grow!

As best explained by Patricia Nell Warren, we have lost much of our history. I do not want to lose any more. This calendar is a continuing project. I'll be working diligently to add to the calendar.

In this calendar you'll find events of historical significance, and also, to make this a living calendar, more personal events as well such as anniversaries, births and deaths.

Pick any month - then any date - and see what happened on that date in GLBT history.

If you know of an event that's missing (and there will always be much missing, although less and less each day) please provide me with the information, and I'll add it.

This calendar will never be complete, but won't even come close without your help. Local information is especially needed - ordinances, births of groups, events, etc.

Also, feel free to submit important dates in your life for inclusion (and if you have a web site celebrating the moment in any way, your entry will be linked). 

Submitting is as easy as sending email.

I hope you enjoy the calendar. I know I'm enjoying putting it together, and hope that it will eventually become the source for information on GLBT history as we remain constantly "under construction - but always building."
